Basic Radiation Training for the Unlicensed Personnel
Sponsored by the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society and the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine
Presented by Dr. Brad Potter
Discover the importance of radiation education! Dental Assistants who expose patients to radiation must complete minimum education and training requirements for operating x-ray machines in accordance with the Colorado Dental Practice Law. This course fulfills the lecture (didactic) portion of the requirement. You’ll learn about advances in oral radiology and participate in discussions of intraoral and panoramic techniques, principles, patient and operator radiation safety and machine operation. At the end of the course you’ll receive a workbook to help you complete the clinical portion of the requirement under the direction of a licensed dentist or dental hygienist.
