This dynamic seminar is a two-part, full day program. Attend the first half of the day to learn the basics of social media. Stay for the second half of the day to learn intermediate to advanced Facebook marketing techniques.

Course Description:

Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs have captured the attention of your patients. Over 500 million people around the world are now actively using Facebook. On average, Americans spend six hours per month on Facebook alone (source: Nielsen). Will your practice be found where millions of Americans now spend their time?

This seminar is a full-day program, yet is split into two parts: basics and intermediate to advanced.

In the morning session, the basics of social media are outlined. For example, what is Facebook, Twitter, YouTube (live tour) and why do they matter? Bring your laptop to this portion of the seminar and we'll walk you through the set-up of your own Facebook business page.

The second half of the day is about intermediate to advanced Facebook marketing techniques. We'll end the day with 30 minutes of "Ask the Expert" open Q & A. This will allow you to ask your most pressing Facebook, Twitter or YouTube questions.

Speaker:

Rita Zamora is a leader in social media marketing for dental professionals. She has trained dentists, teams, dental consultants, as well as corporations, and has been named the "Social Media Expert" to the American Academy of Dental Office Managers. Rita and her team actively co-manage dozens of dental practice's social media programs, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and blogs.

Michael McClure is an experienced technology trainer, software architect, and business analyst. He has developed applications that track and measure dental practice case acceptance to facilitate strategic business and marketing decision making. Michael has experience in social media data measurement, analysis and monitoring of internet advertising campaigns for the pharmaceutical and financial services industries.
