Career Mentoring Opportunities
You can make a difference in the future of the dental profession by taking the time to mentor a dental student or new associate or by encouraging today’s youth to explore the possibilities of a career in the field of oral healthcare.The Society is pleased to sponsor the following career mentoring activities on behalf of its members:
- Complimentary MDDS dental student membership
- Complimentary admission to the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention for students currently enrolled in dental, dental hygiene or dental assisting school
- Annual sponsorship of University of Colorado School of Dentistry fourth-year dental student American Student Dental Association (ASDA) memberships
- Sponsorship of Careers in Dentistry Explorer Post 296
- Annual dental career informational mailings to high school guidance counselors
- Complimentary Rocky Mountain Dental Convention Youth Pass Program for any student, ages 14-20, considering a career in dentistry
