The sweeping meadows, meandering creeks, rustle of pine boughs–you sink deep into a leather armchair in front of the crackling fire and wonder why you've not been here before, or how soon until you can come back. The drive from Denver is easy and man, is the wine good. Since 1938, cowboys, poets, ranchers and cityfolk have escaped to Devil's Thumb Ranch. Something about the way the Continental Divide looks down on the unfettered land draws people. Or maybe it's the spa treatments?

Robert O. Greer, DDS - doctor, author, rancher
Dr. Greer is Professor of Pathology, Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center where he specializes in head and neck pathology and cancer research.
In the past decade extensive research has occurred in the area of HPV related oral cancer, and the molecular events involved in initiation of the disease. Improvement in the treatment of oral squamous cell carcinoma will hinge on our understanding of the underlying deregulation of molecular processes, and developing newer diagnostic strategies and novel agents that target specific molecular pathways. This course will discuss those issues, and the special role that proliferative verrucous leukoplakia (PVL) plays in oral squamous cell cancer.
Pre and post stays will be offered at the same discounted rates. Check back frequently for more information.
